At 216 Private Dining, we aim to combine the flavors of the Mediterranean and the Middle East for a unique and unforgettable fine dining experience. Our sample menu provides an idea about our vision, and it can give you an idea of the type of food we offer at events.
We offer custom menus to our clients based on taste, allergies, and other preferences. Our private chef service includes menu design, call/meeting with the client before the event, cooking, and cleaning up afterward. We also offer Drop-Off services in Ottawa and surrounding areas for events.

Chef Serdar GürtuÄŸ
Founder and Chef
Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, I was exposed to diverse food and culture from an early age. Istanbul is known for bold, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours, as well many iconic dishes (some of which may be found on my menu). In Turkey, it was easy to fall in love with food and the culinary arts, so I moved to Canada in 2015 to attend the Culinary Institute of Canada, one of the top culinary schools in Canada. After graduating from the Culinary Institute, I have had the opportunity to refine my skills by working as a line cook and sous-chef in various restaurants across Prince Edward Island (PEI) and in one of Ottawa's top restaurants. The small province of PEI is known for big hearty flavour and wonderful fresh seafood. In PEI, I also had the opportunity to work with Canada's Smartest Kitchen to explore food and product design and work closely with some of their clients. Now, I work diligently to create a unique and memorable dining experience for each of my clients at 216 Private Dining.
